Most of us had welded before, but few of us understood the working conditions of the professional welder. What was supposed to be a sight-seeing trip, turned into a guerilla ethnography. My role was lead designer, and inventor which resulted in four international patents.

Defining the target.

Using the workshop methodology, we developed the common language to define success before putting anything to sketch.

Codifying the visual brand components as primitives, ensures the repeatability for future products.
